Simple DDblock text only slider

Hi Guys,

I am new to DDblock and having trouble setting up a simple text only slider... I am trying to build a block that simply displays quotes that are text only, which fade in and out every few seconds... I have been unable to find a tutorial or any other FAQ which documents a simple process like this... Any recommendations or advice would be most appreciated.

It depends where your content is coming from and how you want to change the content.

1.) You can use just one node with HTML as the content
See (http://ddblock.myalbums.biz/node/849) but then don't use the image but just text (examples: http://ddblock.myalbums.biz/text_examples). You can also have a look at the comments at that page.

2.) You can use cck and views to get your content from one quote per node.

In the issue Text-only Dynamic Display does not transition you can find more info

The information is available but for both cases don't have a real tutorial yet.
