Dynamic display block slideshow module for Drupal

i'm using the chromatic-blue40l theme on ddblock, and i'm satisfied with the aesthetic level of most of the expected behaviours except that the "read more..." button only transitions slideshow content and doesn't navigate to the actual node view of the story/news/feature.

i need:
1. to link my slidetext title to the actual node, and
2. the read more.. button to the actual node as well

the help tutorials at preprocess_snippets are a bit confusing... help
