Dynamic display block slideshow module for Drupal

Hello,
I am new to ddblcok however I somehow managed to get it right.
I have two problems though;
* I am using imagecache for ddblock and I chose the appropriate imagecache preset in ddblock configuration. However, the images won't resize and I don't know how to get the image size right in ddblock
* The second issue is; I am seeing two texts on the slideshow. They are both the title of the news item. One looks nice (in the back, with a transparent background) and the other one is on the bottom-left, in a grey box. I would like to get rid of the text in the grey box. These two texts overlap and looks terrible...

Could you pleas help?
